Cash Points
There are no banks in Hartland, however there is a cash point in the Post Office, situated in the centre of the village. The Post Office can also issue withdrawals from selected banks. The Pop In shop (see below for more info) also offer cash back with purchases over £5. We recommend that you bring cash with you as there are a number of stores and small businesses in the area that will not accept cards.

The nearest petrol stations to Hartland are all around 12 miles away in Bideford or Bude so it's worth planning ahead and topping up on your way here if you're running low on fuel. Petrol stations in Bideford include Asda, BP, Morrisons, and Texaco and in Bude you can find Morrisons and Esso.

If you need to top up on essentials, down the road in Hartland Village you'll find the Pop-in (open til 7.30pm) and the Post Office (open til 9pm Mon-Sat and 8am-1am / 4.30pm-7.30pm Sun). Both offer a good selection of groceries, toiletries, newspapers and alcohol.
The nearest supermarkets are about 30 minutes drive away in Bideford (Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Lidl & Aldi) or Bude (Co op, Morrisons, Lidl & Sainsburys) so we'd recommend stocking up on supplies on your way here!
